If you are in an emergency situation, contact the Police, Fire or Ambulance service by dialling 999.

An emergency situation is defined as a life threatening situation, becoming seriously ill or injured or if a crime is taking place.
Non-Emergency
If you require the assistance of the police and it is not an emergency, please dial 101 and clearly describe the problem to the call handler. Non-emergency 101 calls can be used to speak to a local police officer about crime prevention or to report a crime or disorder that is not defined as life threatening.

Clearly describe the problem you are facing and advise the call handler if you are travelling with animals. Additionally, provide specific information if any animals are poisonous, have escaped or have been inured.
