Off-Site Consent

Animals in mind recognises the importance of children, young people and adults at risk on all our sites and when undertaking activities in other public places, such as country parks.

We like to visit country parks to undertake activities such as pond dipping, wildlife spotting, camp-fire cooking, shelter building and to immerse ourselves in nature of a different type to our base. Brixworth Country Park is a favourite and we also like to (where permissions are given) build life and social skills with our clients. This might be through being around other members of the public, speaking and listening to others that we encounter and where apprpriate ordering (approved) food from the cafe.

A full benefits / risk accessment will be carried out for the activity and this includes how we will ensure safety and safeguarding children and adults at risk whilst using the site. This form asks care-givers to provide consent for a pre-advised off-site activity.
